Coming from Athlone
Please remember Rahara is situated on the R 362.
- Coming from Dublin and entering Athlone
- Take the N6 towards Galway. (This is the Athlone by-pass)
- After 2 miles (5km) you will cross the river Shannon by a 150 m bridge
- Directly after this bridge take the road to Roscommon (N61)
- Pass Hudson Bay Hotel.
- At Kiltoom stores (filling station) turn left to Curraghboy/ Rahara.
- Entering Curraghboy turn right
- In the village take the first turn to the right towards Athleague
- After 4 miles you will enter Rahara village. Drive straight on through the village.
- Turn left at the first crossroads after Rahara
- Follow the road downhill (400 metres) and then turn left into the Lacken House driveway. Welcome to OM Ireland!
Coming from Roscommon Town
Please remember Rahara is situated on the R 362.
- Take the N63 to Athleague
- In Athleague take the first left turn (R362) towards Athlone
- After 5 miles you reach a crossroads (left to Knockrockery, right to Four Roads)
- Take the right turn towards Four Roads
- Follow the road downhill (400 metres) and turn left into the Lacken House driveway. Welcome to OM Ireland!
Coming from Galway
Please remember Rahara is situated on the R 362.
- Take the N17 towards Tuam
- After Claregalway take the N63 towards Roscommon
- Entering Athleague. The N63 goes as a large 'S' through the village
- Take the R 362 towards Athlone
- After 5 miles you reach a crossroads (left to Knockrockery, right to Four Roads)
- Take the right turn towards Four Roads
- Follow the road downhill (400 yds) and turn left into the Lacken House driveway. Welcome to OM Ireland!
Coming from Ballinasloe
Please remember Rahara is situated at the R 362.
- Take the R357 towards Athleague. This is a narrow road
- Continue this road (for 18 km/11 miles) until you enter Dysart
- On the crossroads in Dysart, go straight ahead towards Athleague and Roscommon.
- Follow this road for 7 km/ 4 miles untill you reach a T junction
- Here you can choose a right turn to Curraghboy and Athlone or a left turn to Ballygar and Roscommon
- Take the left turn towards Ballygar
- Directly after this left turn take a right turn towards Knockrockery and "windwill"
- Follow this road for about 3,5 kms/ 2 miles you will see the Lacken House driveway on your right hand side
- Turn right into the driveway. Welcome to OM Ireland!
